Learn to use shooting sticks.
On almost every safari you go on you will be shooting off some form of shooting sticks. In lots of Africa the ground vegetation will be to high for you to do a lot of the sitting/kneeling/prone shots. Now different hunts and different terrain come with different options to shoot, but when planning a Safari you should be prepared to do shots standing off sticks. I think getting a set and practicing shooting off them will not only increase your success on your up coming hunt but it will gain you the trust and respect from your hunting team PH & trackers when you know how to handle them and shoot well off them.
